What is effective brand identity?
It is not about what one likes or dislikes. It is about what works. I always seek to establish something that lasts, endures time and has the potential to become iconic. I suggest my clients to steer away from personal taste and subjective preferences and see the bigger picture instead, which helps when creating a long term strategy for any company.
How much do you charge?
The price rate depends on various factors. First of all, I ask my clients to provide information and requirements about the project. If they don't have a brief, I will send some initial questions to understand the specifics of the project and the amount of work that has to be done.
How long does it take?
Developing a brand identity from start to finish usually takes from three weeks to three months, exact turnaround time depends on the required work. If add-ons such as stationery or usage guidelines are needed, a few extra weeks may be added to the overall timeline.
What is your creative process?
There are a number of steps: clarifying the design brief, researching, brainstorming, sketching, rendering, presenting and refining. As soon as I gather enough data, I begin sketching and brainstorming. Secondly, I form the initial concepts of the future identity. Using analog and digital tools, I shape my ideas into form by exploring different directions. By discussing together with the client, we reach a consensus on which direction is the best. When we are both satisfied with the job, I will finalize the design process by sending the brand identity assets.
